Will Chisora send Klitschko into retirement?
The Klitschko brothers are both currently showing that their size is a great asset to them within the boxing ring as both brothers hold the heavyweight championship titles and British fighter Dereck Chisora has finally been given his chance to show that his time has come to rise above the rest of the division and he is more than ready to take down one half of the Klitschko clan.
Chisora has been scheduled to fight Wladimir, the younger brother of his next opponent twice but has never had the chance to step into the ring with either brother, but now he has finally been handed his chance to claim a championship title following an agreement to fight the eldest of the Klitschko brothers in Munich on Saturday 18th Febuary.
The outspoken fighter revealed that he was not only going to look to take the title from his opponent but was also looking to “show Vitali Klitschko that his time has expired and send him into retirement.”
The show of desire to win the title and bring it to England shows that Chisora is mentally prepared for the fight and his has also extended the challenge to his opponents younger brother, Wladimir Klitschko, to fight after his bout with Vitali, saying that he felt that it was time that the heavyweight titles were “brought back to London.”
Although confidence is high for Chisora, the bookmakers are currently pricing the fighter as a firm underdog to produce a shock when the duo step into the arena to go head to head but Vitali Klitschko will be fully aware that his opponent will not be looking to make the contest an easy one by any stretch of the imagination.
Commenting on Chisora’s last performance, in which he lost to Finland’s Robert Helenius, Klitschko said that he had seen that “when his opponents are much bigger he can fight well on the inside.”
