Considered possibly one of the best competitive and evenly matchups ever Juan Marquez will once again vs off against Manny Pacquiao for the 4th match between these two great fighters. Currently Manny holds the edge over Juan with 2 wins and 1 draw although many believe Juan Marquez defeated Manny in the last fight. On Saturday December 8th your going to see probably the last fight between these two great fighters in which the bookmakers currently have Manny as a decently large favorite at 1 to 3. They also predict this matchup to go the distance in which your able to bet on under 10 and a half rounds at 2 to 1. So what varies between this matchup and the previous matchups? Lets take a look first at some of the statistics from the previous fights and score cards before comparing.
As you can see Robert Hoyle scored the fight 114 to 114 a draw where as Dave Moretti and Gleen Trowbridge both respectfully gave Manny Pacquiao the decision based primarily on the final round. If you watched the last round in this fight Manny dominated as he was far more aggressive compared to Juan Marquez who was holding back as he assumed he had the lead. Another big factor on why the decision might have came out how it did just like previous other fights between these two warriors is the fact Manny has been able to knock down Juan in which Marquez has not had such luck.
Some of these rounds could have gone either way and it goes to show why it’s important for the league to only hire the best of judges and that is what they have done. Although Manny Pacquiao was booed on his last win decision people should remember this is a very competitive and close matchup between the two and it just happened this time around a majority of the crowed was Mexican and supporting their home town favorite Juan Marquez.
From everything I can see after watching the fight over and over again was a pretty accurate scorecard. I give the ref and judges an A rating for there ability to score this fight equally.

Born December 17, 1978 and has won ten world titles. Manny not only is a great fighter but also a politician located in the Philippines. Currently Manny Pacquiao is rated #2 in the world as the best pound for pound fighter in boxing. This is disputed however as several other organizations rank him currently in the number 1 spot. Here is Pacman’s official fight record as of today. His last fight in which he got a loss was against Timothy Bradley which is highly disputed in the boxing community. A majority of judges who watched the fight scored Manny winning this bout with ease. I also thought Manny won this fight however my vote don’t count for anything.
|Wins By KO||38|
Just from looking at previous fights and wins it’s pretty obvious these two fighters are evenly matched although based on there own personal matchups the scorecards have lifted Manny ahead of Juan. These fights are so close as if a half a second to late or half a second to soon could determine the winner when these two fight. After going over video replays and other scenarios it only make since to now come out publicly with who I think is going to win on this upcoming match in December.
2012 Juan Marquez vs Manny Pacquiao Pick
I’m betting on Manny Pacquiao to win this fight and to finally end the controversy around these two boxers. Although Juan is an outstanding fighter and has a very smart training staff I think Manny knocks him out in the 9th round to finally become known as the better fighter between the two. This isn’t the first time however I predicted Manny to cover the spreads with the bookmakers with a knockout and have lost so you might tread with caution. Either way don’t expect this fight to be a lob sided fight where its over after a few rounds and your upset you spend so much money on the pay per view event. This very well might go the entire round card however I’m certainly confident there will be zero drama in regards to how the card is scored and the winner whoever might that be will be unanimous.
